Platform Notice
Last updated: May 25, 2026. Questions: support@bookerflow.ca.
This Platform Notice explains the role of BookerFlow ("BookerFlow", "we", "us") when you book an appointment on a business's hosted booking page powered by BookerFlow. It supplements — and does not replace — the terms, policies, prices, and disclosures published by the business you are booking with. Effective date: May 25, 2026.
1. We are software, not the service provider
BookerFlow is appointment-scheduling software. The local business (for example, a salon, barber, clinic, studio, spa, or other service provider) you are booking with is an independent business that uses BookerFlow to manage its calendar, accept online bookings, and send notifications. The business — not BookerFlow — chooses what services to offer, sets prices and policies, controls staff and premises, performs your service, and is responsible to you for what you receive.
We are not the merchant of record for the services you book, we do not employ or supervise the business's staff, we do not inspect or certify the business's credentials, premises, equipment, or insurance, and we do not control how appointments are performed. Listing on a BookerFlow booking page is not an endorsement, certification, or guarantee by BookerFlow.
2. Payments, deposits, and refunds for services
Unless we announce in writing that in-product payment collection is enabled for a specific business, appointment fees, deposits, no-show charges, gratuities, taxes, and refunds for services are handled directly by the business through its own payment methods (for example, an in-person card terminal, the business's own online processor, cash, or invoice). BookerFlow does not collect, hold, refund, or guarantee payment of any service fee. Subscription fees that businesses pay to BookerFloware separate and are described in our Refunds & Billing policy.
3. Cancellations, reschedules, and no-shows
Cancellation windows, rescheduling rules, late or no-show fees, and any other booking policies are set by the business and shown on the booking page where configured. If online cancellation is closed for your appointment, contact the business directly using the contact information on its booking page. BookerFlowcannot override a business's scheduling decisions, fees, or policies except where required by law.
4. Privacy
When you book, the business receives the contact and appointment details you provided so it can deliver and manage your appointment. We process that information on the business's behalf to operate the booking system, as described in our Privacy Policy. For how the business itself uses your information — including any storage, marketing, profile building, or sharing outside the appointment — contact the business and review its own privacy policy.
5. SMS, email, and reminders
Confirmations, reminders, and verification codes may be sent by email or text when the business has enabled them and (for text) where you have provided consent. Message frequency varies. You may reply STOP to opt out of texts where supported, or contact the business. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Standard message and data rates may apply.
6. Listings and accuracy
The business is responsible for the accuracy of every detail shown on its booking page, including services, prices, durations, staff, credentials, hours, address, photos, descriptions, and policies. We do not independently verify listings. If something looks wrong, contact the business; if you believe a listing violates our Acceptable Use Policy or law, please email support@bookerflow.ca.
7. Complaints and disputes about services
If you are unhappy with the service you received, the price you were charged, an appointment outcome, a staff member's conduct, the premises, sanitation, safety, or professional credentials, you should raise the issue with the business directly using its published contact information. BookerFlow will route service-quality and billing disputes back to the business because we do not provide the underlying service and are not in a position to investigate or adjudicate them. For technical problems with the booking website itself (errors, broken pages, access issues), contact support@bookerflow.ca.
8. No warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the booking website and any related notices are provided "as is" and "as available". BookerFlow does not guarantee the availability of any appointment, the qualifications or conduct of any staff member, the quality, fitness, safety, or outcome of any service, the accuracy of any listing, or the timely delivery of any notification. Nothing in this notice limits any consumer right that you have under applicable law that cannot be waived.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BookerFlow and its affiliates will not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, goodwill, business, opportunity, or data, arising from your use of any booking page or any service booked through a business that uses BookerFlow. Our total aggregate liability to you in relation to any booking will not exceed CAD $100. This Section does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights you may have.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The current version applies whenever you use a BookerFlow-powered booking page. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent version.
11. Business account holders
If you are creating a BookerFlowbusiness account rather than booking an appointment, this notice does not apply to you on its own — our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy, SMS & Messaging Terms, and Refunds & Billing policy apply instead.
