Reading your Insights

What each panel measures, the questions worth asking it, and why its numbers can differ from your own count.

Insights turns your bookings into a picture of the business — when you are busy, what sells, who is carrying the load, and whether customers come back. It is a read-only page: nothing here changes your diary.

What each panel tells you

SettingWhat it does
Performance historyHow bookings have moved over time. The shape matters more than any single number — a steady climb or a slow fade is the thing to notice.
Where the money comes fromWhich services actually generate your revenue. Frequently different from which you assume, and a good prompt for what to promote.
When you are busyYour demand by time and day. Use it to decide where to add hours — and, just as usefully, which quiet hours to stop offering.
Customer loyaltyHow many customers are returning rather than booking once. Retention is cheaper than acquisition, so this is worth watching.
Team workloadBookings and hours per person. Spots the imbalance where one person is full and another is not.
Recent appointment historyThe latest appointments that have passed — a quick sanity check that what you think happened, happened.

Questions worth asking it

  • Which hours are dead? If a morning never books, stop offering it and reclaim the time. Adjust in Hours & time off.
  • Which service earns least for the time it eats? Long, cheap services quietly crowd out better ones.
  • Is one person always full? Either they need more hours, or the others need promoting on the booking page.
  • Are customers coming back? If not, reminders and follow-up matter more than new marketing.

Why numbers can differ from your own count

Insights counts what is in BookerFlow. Anything booked outside it — a regular you pencil in yourself, a walk-in never entered — is invisible here.

Cancellations and no-shows are also treated differently from completed appointments, so a raw count of rows in Appointments will not always match a figure here.

If the numbers look wrong, they are usually incomplete

The most common cause of Insights disagreeing with your gut is bookings that never made it into the system. Entering walk-ins as they happen fixes the data and costs seconds.
