Troubleshooting
Something looks wrong — start here
Find your symptom and follow it to the fix — booking, missing times, messages, or access.
Something looks wrong. Find your symptom below and follow it to the article that covers it — the answer is usually a setting doing exactly what it was told.
Start with the symptom
Almost every report we get is one of four things: nobody can book, some times are missing, a message did not arrive, or you cannot sign in. Work from what the person actually saw rather than what you think caused it.
Nobody can book at all
Your booking page loads but offers nothing, or says booking is unavailable. In order of likelihood:
- A payment failed — online booking pauses entirely. “Past due”: what customers see and how to fix it
- Online booking is switched off in Settings → Booking. Booking rules: notice, cancellation, and how far ahead
- Setup is incomplete — no services, no staff, or no hours. Your first week: a setup checklist
Times are missing or wrong
- Some times are missing — seven causes, in the order to check them. Why a time slot isn't showing to customers
- Every time is shifted by the same amount — that is the timezone, on Settings → Booking. Set your opening hours and time off
- Times vanished mid-booking — the customer added an extra, which lengthened the appointment. Add-ons and booking extras
- One service has no times, others are fine — nobody who provides it is working. Add your team
Always test as a customer
Messages are not arriving
- A customer got no text — five checks, starting with consent. Appointment texts: setup, consent, and allowances
- Your team is not getting booking alerts — usually a missing staff email address. Who gets emailed when a booking comes in
- What is sent, and when — the full list. Every message BookerFlow sends
You cannot get in
Sign-in problems, password resets, and what to check before contacting us are in Signing in and resetting your password.
What to send us
If none of the above fits, we can trace almost anything from four details. Include:
- Your booking link.
- The exact date and time involved.
- The service, and the staff member if customers choose one.
- What you expected to see, and what you saw instead.
A screenshot of what the customer saw is worth several paragraphs of description.
